About C.L. Smith

     I grew up in Lebanon, Indiana.  I reside in Sacramento, CA where I continue to try to develop and create works of art.  For me, art has been greatly motivating and inspiring.  I started painting and drawing at an early age.  My parents always nurtured my talents and gave me motivation to continue painting and drawing.  My works range mostly from abstract to realism pieces.  I work with oils, acrylics, and other mixed media.  I believe art evokes a different response from us all.   The energy, mood, and emotion are what I strive to bring out in my works.
